    One of the best gifts I have ever received is the GIFT of WHY. Simon Sinek’s books Start with Why and Find your Why have been like a godsend to me.

    Drafting a WHY statement is the MOST IMPORTANT step that leads to our WHY or the purpose of our lives.

    Most of us live our lives hoping for some miracle to happen but if you want to lead your life driven by purpose, you have to know your WHY.

    As mentioned by Simon Sinek in his two books, Start with Why and Find your Why, a WHY discovery is essential to find a purpose in our lives.

    A clear WHY statement should have the following characteristics:

    1. Should be SIMPLE and CLEAR
    2. ACTIONABLE
    3. Focused on the effect you will have on OTHERS
    4. Expressed in AFFIRMATIVE LANGUAGE
