    Inspirational Leadership Tenets

    Key tenets of Inspirational Leadership?

Many of us feel that to be leaders we need to have a rank or position. This blog post will enlighten you on some Inspirational Leadership tenets.

I have been highly inspired by Simon Sinek’s work on leadership which is not only applicable at work but our personal lives as well.

According to him when we are able to inspire others to dream and achieve the unthinkable we become leaders, irrespective of our rank or position.

When we look after others around us, we become responsible workers, parents as well as children.

The following two inspirational quotes from Simon Sinek have very deep meaning and can be extended to all our lives.

I am a big fan of this insight from Simon Sinek, which is a masterclass on good parenting.

A good leader and hence great leadership needs empathy and true courage. Leadership is in many ways similar to parenting.

    As Simon Sinek says:

The joy of parenting comes from seeing our children do things that delight us. Similarly the joy of leadership comes from seeing someone in our team do more than they thought they were capable of. “

Read these very insightful blogs that capture true essence of great leadership based on lessons learnt from Simon Sinek.

And finally I end with another great of Simon Sinek:

Leadership is not about being in charge, it’s about taking care of those in your charge”
