Adopt the FISH PHILOSOPHY at WORK

    Daily writing prompt
Describe a positive thing a family member has done for you.

A kid at home always teaches parents what PLAY is all about. The essence of enjoying work is to adopt the fish philosophy at work. Needless to say, play is the central theme of this philosophy.

A kid at home teaches us to be playful and the childlike inquisitiveness we see through them helps us rejuvenate us when we come back from work at the end of a day.

The FISH PHILOSPHY is a wonderful lesson for those getting stressed out at work. PLAY is an essential component to enjoy the work we do.

If you have kids at home, spend more time with them and learn from them the art of inquisitiveness and playfulness.

  • Are you SICK of your CURRENT WORKPLACE?Adopt the FISH PHILOSOPHY to REJUVENATE yourself..

The following 4 key tenets as mentioned in the Fish philosophy are absolutely vital in our modern day workplaces.

    1. Play – Think work as play to get rid of boredom in order to make work enjoyable
    2. Choose Your Attitude – Without bothering about extraneous situations , circumstances , caustic people around , choose your own attitude and make work enjoyable by choosing a positive attitude.
    3. Be Present – Enjoy the present moment without cribbing about the past and future which are not in our control.
    4. Make it their day – Even though we may be having a rough time at work , there may be a lot of people in our workplaces who may need our help and affection.By helping them and relating to them we can make their day without being selfish enough to just think about our gains.
  • At WORK have you MADE SOMEONE’S day?Chances are you would be CHERISHING those memories..

Adopted from the following great insight shared by Stephen Lundin from the book Fish Philosophy

  • Are you FEELING BORED at work?Choosing the RIGHT ATTITUDE will work wonders..

Adopted from the following great insight shared by Stephen Lundin in Fish Philosophy

Choose Your Attitude—The fish guys are aware that they choose their attitude each day. One of the fish guys said, “When you are doing what you are doing, who are you being? Are you being impatient and bored, or are you being world famous? You are going to act differently if you are being world famous.” Who do we want to be while we do our work?”
