  • Are you a RESPONSIBLE ENTREPRENEUR?

A responsible entrepreneur is one who realizes that the purpose of his business is to focus on the following 3 aspects in order of PRIORITY..

    1. Advance a LARGER than LIFE PURPOSE
    2. PROTECTING the internal and external stakeholders
    3. Generating PROFIT

Thus the order of priority matters in deciding whether an entrepreneur and hence the business is being responsible enough or not.

Simon Sinek mentions the same in his book The Infinite Game.

  • Do you UNDERSTAND the RESPONSIBILITY of YOUR BUSINESS?This is your GUIDE to SERVE HUMANITY BETTER..

The following self help and motivational insight has been adopted from Simon Sinek’s book The Infinite Game

The definition of the responsibility of business must: Advance a purpose: Offer people a sense of belonging and a feeling that their lives and their work have value beyond the physical work. Protect people: Operate our companies in a way that protects the people who work for us, the people who buy from us and the environments in which we live and work. Generate profit: Money is fuel for a business to remain viable so that it may continue to advance the first two priorities.”

  • These are the primary responsibilities for any business

The following are the primary responsibilities of any business.

    1. Advancing a Purpose – This offers people a sense of belonging and gets their buy in to the JUST CAUSE
    2. Protect People – Operate in such a way that protects the interests of people who buy from us and who work for us
    3. Generate profits – Money is fuel for a business to remain viable so that a company can exist to advance the first two priorities.

The order in which a company approaches the priorities makes us realize whether the company is playing with a finite or an infinite mindset in the infinite game of business.

Adopted from Simon Sinek’s book The Infinite Game

  • The order in which a business communicates responsibility matters

The three pillars of a business’s responsibility are:

    1. Advancing a Purpose
    2. Protecting the people involved with the business
    3. Generating profits

The order of communication of its responsibility separate an infinite minded business from a finite minded business.

Adopted from Simon Sinek’s book The Infinite Game

  • Understanding the responsibility of a business in an infinite game

“The responsibility of a business is to use its will and resources to advance a cause greater than itself , protect the people and places in which it operates and generate more resources so that it can continue doing all those things for as long as possible.”

This is the essence of playing an infinite game

Adopted from Simon Sinek’s book titled The Infinite Game

  • Responsibility of a business in the “Infinite Game”

The responsibility of business is to use its will and resources to advance a cause greater than itself , protect the people and places in which it operates and generate more resources so that it can continue doing all those things for as long as possible.

This is because there is nothing like “winning” in an infinite game.To stay alive in an infinite game an infinite player needs to be aware that sometimes it will be ahead and at other times it can be behind competition.
