The Habit of Mindfulness is one habit which when practiced regularly over a period of time is sure to improve the quality of your life. I have experienced noticeable improvements since the time I started being mindful.
The most powerful strategy to maintain good health and well being is to realize the power of now. Focus on the NOW for a fulfilling life.
More often than not due to lack of focus our mind vacillates and hence we are either regretful of the past or obsessed with the future. This leads to anxiety, fear and restlessness.
Practicing mindfulness a a habit is necessary to reverse the natural instinct of the brain to deny the present moment. This is wonderfully illustrated by Eckhart Tolle in his book The Power of Now.
