Describe a risk you took that you do not regret.

    Take the Risk of Optimism

The risk of optimism is one risk I will never regret.

The risk of optimism is what I would aim to take at every possible moment.

Research shows the following three major benefits of an optimistic mindset:

    1. It can protect against depression — even for people who are at risk for it
    2. An optimistic outlook makes people more resistant to stress.
    3. It may even help people live longer.

Hence I would encourage all of you to choose an optimistic mindset without any regret.

    1. Run your own race -> NOT COMPARING with OTHERS and doing your BEST at WHAT you are passionate about.
    2. Being Optimistic -> Having full FAITH in GOD, TRUST the value system indeed works and hence be PATIENT with whatever we have.
    3. Stay away from Negative people -> TURNING a DEAF EAR to NEGATIVITY and NEGATIVE PEOPLE and maintain self belief.
    4. Remove the worry habit -> Overcoming FEAR by looking at FEAR eye to eye.
    5. Power of self compassion -> Being GOOD with Oneself if you have done my BEST, EXPECTING nothing in RETURN.

  • Leadership is like Parenting

    Leadership is like Parenting

    Daily writing prompt
What is the last thing you learned?

    How is Leadership like Parenting?

The last thing on great leadership I have learnt is that leadership is like parenting. Let’s explore more.

Simon Sinek has done extensive work on this topic via his experience with US Navy Seals, great leaders and has come up with this wonderful metaphor.

    Leadership is like Parenting

Great leaders back their team and encourage them to do their best. This is very similar to how we as parents support our kids to give off their best.

  • Welcome your Infinite Minded self

    Welcome your Infinite Minded self

    Daily writing prompt
You’re writing your autobiography. What’s your opening sentence?

If I were to write my own autobiography it would surely inspire you to welcome your infinite minded self.

The very fact that life is an infinite game and there are no merits in finite mindedness has been beautifully explained by Simon Sinek in his book The Infinite Game.

An infinite minded individual does not focus on trifles, strives to be a better version everyday without comparing with others.

The moment we develop this mindset we realize the benefits of thinking about long term benefits than short term dopamine driven gains.

The example of the gardener is an apt example of this mindset, which I encourage you all to develop for a fulfilled life.
