COOKING is GREAT for MENTAL HEALTH. How?

What’s your favorite thing to cook?

I love to cook my own food. I love to bake cakes & many other items that keep me fit and healthy. Cooking is by the way great for mental health as well.

Research has related cooking with happiness, relaxation, increasing self confidence to name a few.

Research has also proven that baking your own cake can  increase your levels of serotonin, dopamine, and oxytocin — all positive brain chemicals directly associated with overall mood and happiness. This in turn drives away all DEPRESSION and ANXIETY.

Thus if you have not yet started the journey would encourage you to take up cooking.
