  • Why HATE a GENIUS LEADER with THOUSAND HELPERS?

Why HATE a GENIUS LEADER with THOUSAND HELPERS?

    Daily writing prompt
What public figure do you disagree with the most?

There are acclaimed public figures who are geniuses with “yes men” around. I hate genius leaders with thousand helpers for the reasons mentioned below.

Organizations led by a GENIUS leader with THOUSAND FOLLOWERS, decide on the “WHAT” questions without figuring out the SUCCESSION plan i.e. the “WHO” related questions.

On the other hand, great organizations led by LEVEL 5 leaders, first get the RIGHT PEOPLE on the BUS before deciding on the answers to the STRATEGY related questions. Thus these organizations answer the “WHO” related questions before taking the “WHAT” related decisions.

Hence strive to a Level 5 leader not a genius leader with thousand helpers.

  • Great Leaders encourage”Healthy Scientific Debates”

Great organizations led by Level 5 leaders are ones that have a penchant for INTENSE DIALOGUE.

These organizations DO NOT use these “heated discussions” as a gimmick to let people “HAVE THEIR SAY” so that they could “BUY IN” to a predetermined decision.

The process that is rather adopted is one of a “HEATED SCIENTIFIC DEBATE” wherein the people are engaged in SEARCH for the BEST ANSWERS.

  • “Right people” on the bus is first priority of Level 5 leaders

The main point with Level 5 leaders is that they first get the right people on the bus and the wrong people off the bus.

Once the right people are there , level 5 leaders figure out where to drive to the bus to.

Once the team is settled , sheer rigor related to people decisions gives the fillip to drive the company to greatness.
