Whereas IQ is based on Intelligence or Performance , EQ or emotional quotient is based on trust or character of a person that helps the person to collaborate with like minded people.
The following quote from Simon Sinek very aptly highlights the subtle difference between intelligence part of IQ and creativity part of EQ:
“Intelligence looks for what is KNOWN to solve problems.
Creativity looks for whatever is UNKNOWN to discover possibilities.”
