Why put Purpose over Pleasure?

The merits of purpose over pleasure become evident when you care about a fulfilling life. To build a body of loyal subscribers I believe in making the subscribers realize a purpose in their lives to make their lives more meaningful.

In her book Grit, the author Angela Duckworth talks at length how purpose over pleasure is a central theme in lives of gritty people. Purpose is always for the long term and pleasure can only work in the short term.

Thus once you are able to show a purpose in their lives to your subscribers loyalty would be taken care since all of us strive for fulfilling lives built on purpose.
